BOSTON WALCH discovered a passion for movement in her youth exploring ballroom and modern dance. She pursued further education training in folk, clog, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, modern and contemporary dance styles. Boston had the great opportunity and life-changing experience of touring France with the American Footworks company based in Idaho in 2019. She also toured with her collegiate dance company and performed with Southern Idaho’s Lost Tribe hip-hop crew. However, the dance experiences she treasures the most are presenting her own choreographic pieces in collegiate-level Research & Creative Works Conferences helping her begin to discover her own creative process as an artist. She is currently working on her Senior Capstone, Inspiring Creative Confidence in Children through Making Somatic Connections. She owes her greatest inspiration to her mentors; Ariel Hortin, Mindy & Gary Larsen, Ashley Storm, Sarah Anderson, Monica Campbell, and Stephen Novakavich.
