Whitney Collins

WHITNEY COLLINS is an active producer, leader, and supporter within the Utah performing arts community. She is the director of Atlas Dance Collective, which she founded in 2018. Whitney earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Modern Dance along with a Minor in Earth Science from Utah Valley University, where she has been instructing beginning college-level dance classes as an adjunct faculty member. She has had the honor of attending the American Dance Festival’s 6-week summer intensive (ADF 6WS 2016 & 2017) in Durham, North Carolina, where she took opportunities to perform, network, attend professional dance concerts, collaborate, and continue her dance training. Whitney has had the privilege of performing professionally for The Penguin Lady Dance Collective, 90&9's production of FIGHTER, BRINE, Lagoon Entertainment, and has previously been offered a position on Diavolo Architecture in Motion’s Institute/VOLO Program in Los Angeles, California. Along with professionally dancing, directing, and teaching college students at UVU, Whitney teaches dance to the youth as a freelance instructor throughout Utah to various studios that invite her in to teach or choreograph.
